Steinfurth Offline Carbo Analyzer (OLCA)

Inline/Offline Carbo Analyzer (ILCA/OLCA)

The OLCA enables you to measure the CO2 concentration in bottles or kegs.

The container is connected to the OLCA, and the product is transported through the measuring block by gas pressure.

The device does the extraction of samples automatically.

A series of samples is taken. For each sample, a small amount of liquid (ca. 300 ml) is sufficient. These samples are lost.

The operation of the OLCA is based on the so-called „manometric method“. Each sample is degasified in a measuring chamber. Using beverage specific formula, OLCA computes the CO2 concentration from pressure and temperature after the degassing procedure.

This concentration value is shown on the display. Optionally, CO2 concentration, pressure and temperature can be passed to other computers via RS232 serial interface.
